avva babaeean is an artist and fashion designer with a dual-degree in fashion design and literature from parsons the new school for design and eugene lang the new school for liberal arts.

her work studies the meaning and experience of the woman in fashion through her romantic, sentimental aesthetic. embedding poetry into her clothing, she explores the notion of text and garment as facilitators of sacred experience.
